Mutton boneless - 250 gms
Giner garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp

Curry leaf - 15 leaves
Red chilli - 10 nos
Mustard - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 5 tsp

 

Preparation Method

Wash and cut mutton into very small pieces, about half a inch squares. Mix 2 tsp of oil and mix all the ingredients in 1#. Marinate for 30 min.

Heat oil in a pan, reduce the heat to low and add mustard seeds when they done popped add whole red chillies and curry leaf, fry for a min, adjust the heat to high and add the marinated mutton pieces, stir fry for 2 min and reduce the flame to low, cover the pan with lid and allow it to cook for 30 min. Open the lid, adjust the flame to medium, and stir fry. When the mutton looks dry turn off the heat and serve.

Aadu is goat in Tamil language. Mutton is made from goat meat, which is Aattu Kari.
