Ingredients
Prawns - 350 gms
Onion thinly sliced - 1 cup
Tomato chopped - 1/2 cup
Sambar powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger paste - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 15 cloves
Curry leaf - 20 leaves
Corriander leaf - 2 tsp chopped
Oil - 7 tsp
Salt - 1 to 3/4 tsp as req

Preparation Method
Wash and clean prawns. Keep aside. Click here to learn how to clean prawns.
Heat 4 tsp of oil in a pan. Reduce the flame to low, add sliced onions, adjust the flame to medium, stir for 2 min and add tomato, ginger paste, garlic and half of the curry leaves. Stir for 5 min and add turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt. Stir fry for 2 min and add the cleaned prawns. Sprankle a handfull of water, when it boils stir throughly and cover the pan with lid. Let it cook for 7 min. Open the lid, add 3 tsp of oil, remaining curry leaves, corriander leaves, black pepper and stir fry until you get a thick masala consistency, which will take approx 5 min.
