Images of Sambar
Here you can see images or photos of different kinds of Sambar. There are some things to take care of while cooking some main ingredient, which we will outline below.

To cook Lady's finger sambar, you have to note one point. The cut lady's finger or Okra has to be fried separately in a fry pan without any oil or any ingredient for about 3-5 min. This is to remove the stickiness in Okra. This way, it will feel good to touch Sambar without the stickiness and it will be delicious. Btw, you can note that, we eat with our hands. So the touch feeling is very important.

We have mentioned in various places that we eat rice mixed with sambar or curry or rasam or any main dish. Below is an image of how it will look like once we mix the sambar with rice. Sambar (and any Tamil food in general) with rice will taste good if we eat with our hand. The reason for this is, the dishes gets mixed and eaten. When we mix with hand, the sambar and rice gets mixed the right way which is difficult with a spoon or fork. Traditionally we eat with our right hand.
For this example we have used Sowsow sambar.
