Ponnaganni-keerai

Ponnaganni-keerai is a traditional vegetable. Ponnaganni-keerai has many health benefits. Keerai in Tamil language means Leaves in English. These leaves are in traditional Tamil cuisin for ages. You can find them grown in the backyard of country side homes.

There are two kinds of Ponnganni keerai - Green and Red.

Ponnaganni-keerai leaves are used to make Ponnaganni-keerai poriyal and Kootu. Ponnaganni-keerai can also be used to make sambar.
