Mutton Soup

Mutton Soup can be made using Mutton Stock.

If you want to make Mutton Soup, the best time is when you make any other Mutton dishes like Briyani or Fry or Kuruma.

If you would like to make mutton soup, exclusively then buy minimum quantity of mutton and make the soup.

Typically, we make mutton soup when we make mutton fry. The reason is, Mutton stock is used less for Mutton Fry when compared to Mutton Briyani or Mutton Kuruma.

Just to show the process, please see below. Clean and Boil the Mutton, Take the stock, add Salt and Pepper. That is it.

Clean the mutton.
We used mutton legs/shank and tenderloin - these are the most delicious parts of Goat meat - Mutton.

In a pressure cooker, add mutton, 3 cups of water, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder. Cover the cooker and cook for 5 min in high flame. Then lower the flame and cook for 15-20 min.

Removing the mutton gives you the stock.

Take a few laddle of Mutton Stock, add salt and pepper to make Mutton Soup. You can add just boiled pieces of Mutton to add more taste and flavor.
