Pudalangai is a traditional vegetable. In English, we call it as "Snake gourd" because of the long snake like feature. It used to be very long but now we get only genetically modified vegetable. Pudalangai has many health benefits.


Pudalangai pieces are used to make Pudalangai Sambar or Kuzhambu. Pudalangai can also be used to make side dish like poriyal and Kootu.
