Garam masala

Garam masala or Karrappodi is Chilli powder.

Garam masala is used to rarely by Tamils because it is derived from North India. However for adding taste to non-veg food, sometimes garam masala is used. Some people use garam masala for veg dishes also just to make it taste like a non-veg dish.

Here we will show a secret family recipe for making garam masala. This recipe can make 500 gms of garam masala.

Dry all the ingredients in direct Sun for a few days.

Fry them in a pan.

Mill or grind the mixture to make a powder. If you are in India there are several mills available where you can make bulk of the rasam powder or any spice you want to make a powder form.

Make sure you store the powder in an air-tight box.
