Seppankizhangu in English is Taro. In the name Seppan kizhangu, "Kizhangu" means root. This is a root vegetable.


Seppankizhangu whole or in thick slice:
Whole seppankizhangu as well as thick slice can be used for making dishes - for making Kulambu or fry-Varuval. For both cases, we have to boil the Taro. For varuval, we have to slice them in thick slices and fry.
