Vinayakar Chathurthi

Vinayakar Chathurthi is a festival to celebrate birth of Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh is referred to as Vinayakar in Tamil.

This festival is celebrated equally in South India as well as North India. Hence throughout the world, Indians celebrate this festival in a grand manner.

There are several dish made to offer to Lord Ganesh. One dish that is common throughout India is Kozhukattai (in Tamil).
