Ebi Itame
Ebi means Prawns in Japanese. This a very simple and easy to make dish. Goes well with Japanese rice. Or you can just eat them as a snack.
Let us take a look at the recipe of the delicious Ebi Itame.
Clean the Prawns, Cut the Paprika's and Crush the garlic.
Cleaning process of Prawns is a time consuming one. If you are in India, typically cleaning process is done when you buy. You should get it cleaned properly and carefully by instructing the person to remove the dark black/brown thread inside the prawns that starts from head to tail.

Heat oil in a pan. Preferably Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Once oil is hot add the cut paprika's, soy sauce, pepper and fry for about 5 min. Salt you can add as per your taste preference.

Take the veggies sauteed in the above step and keep it in a plate.
In the same fry pan, fry the prawns. Add garlic, soy sauce, pepper and salt. Fry for about 5-10 min or until the prawns turn red.
Now, place the sauteed prawns over the veggies (paprika's) in the plate and mix them.
Delicious Ebi Itame is ready to be served. You can remove soy sauce and just keep it with salt and pepper or add any other sauce of your choice. This is a simple and flexible dish as the taste comes from the Prawns and Paprika's.
