Rasam podi

Rasam podi or Rasam powder is to make Rasam.

Unlike Sambar powder, Rasam powder is used to make just Rasam. You can consider this like a mix. Once you have rasama powder, making rasam is just a few minutes.

Here we will show a secret family recipe for making Rasam powder. This recipe can make 500 gms of rasam podi or rasam powder.

Dry all the ingredients in direct Sun for a few days.

Fry them in a pan.

Mill or grind the mixture to make a powder. If you are in India there are several mills available where you can make bulk of the rasam powder or any spice you want to make a powder form.

Make sure you store the powder in an air-tight box.

Podi in Rasam Podi means something small or powder.
