Popular main dish for Prawn fry:
Prawn fry itself can be considered as a main dish. The best part of Prawn fry made in Tamil Nadu style or South Indian style is that, the dish is a thick gravy - we call it masala. You can simply add hot steamed rice, mix and eat.
Typically what we do is, once the dish is ready, we transfer the dish to a bowl leaving a little bit of masala/gravy in the container. On this, we will add hot stamed rice and mix it with a little heat (This is like making a fried rice). This is super delicious prawn dish.

Sambar, Kuruma, Rasam
Shrimp fry goes well with almost all main dishes.

Leftover tips:
If Shrimp/Prawn fry made for lunch is left over, we can use it as stuffing for Dosa during dinner. This you can never get in a restaurant. Only home cooking can give you this great combination. Also goes well with Idly.
